I did a small office renovation. Dani and I are down to the final two (very difficult) Astrobot challenge levels so I decided to set us up with a screen for Steam and the Switch. That meant redoing paint and baseboards, replacing the closet shelf with steel pegboard, and getting a couple of new pieces of furniture.


Speaking of Playstation, my PS5 Disc Edition (or whatever it is called) downgraded itself to a PS5 Digital Edition. Now if I want to finish any of my incomplete campaigns I get to buy a new copy of the game!

The cartridge design requires removing that big housing.

Since the leak was slow and contained, I waited for Dad to come down to tackle the leaky guest bathroom tub cartridge. The cartridge housing on the donor fixture came off with an adjustable open-end wrench.


The cartridge housing in the wall required a pipe wrench (and thus, its destruction); the socket wrench just smushed the brass.


The cartridge fell apart as soon as I removed it from the housing.


In the bath:

Me	*eyeing bath toys* Uhhh how about some penguin?
		What? Penguins aren't tasty!
	Oh, but my orca friend said they were.
		Fine, *grabbing a bottle of shampoo* do you want some orca sauce with it?
