The Gentleman's Beer Exploration Society took a short hike to Bitter Brothers brewing. It wasn't exactly the backcountry, but it was a great day to be outdoors.

Sometimes there are fun conversations I think about transcribing, so I added support in my web tools. This, of course, meant partly manifesting a longstanding desire to create avatars for everyone mentioned herein. The second part is ongoing, the first part took an hour or two at the keyboard.

Since Jes enjoyed rafting, I thought maybe she'd like an ocean kayak for her bday. We did a sunset paddle before going to see Isle of Dogs.

This, of course, meant rigging a pulley system in the garage to easily store and load the vessel which she christened Gamora.

The new Lolbaters (gaming crew) choice is Sea of Thieves. Turns out it's for Windows 10 only and I'm on 7 (and am quite happy where things stand). The options were:

So for $90 (SSD) + $30 (switch) + $90 (Win10), I get to play Sea of Thieves. Well, and if it's a terrible game, I have a second/backup OS install that will run whatever doesn't work on Win7.
