Dave and I decided to try to climb Shasta. We made it just about to the Red Bluffs before turning back. It was a lesson in the importance of acclimatization - we more or less drove up from sea level and spent the night in
Ayr's mom's yard.
Also my camera succumbed to the cold on the mountain, but I got a few exposures.
